On May 8, SS 2409 contract closed at 14,105 yuan/ton, down 155 yuan/ton from the previous trading day.

On May 8, SS 2409 contract closed at 14,105 yuan/ton, down 155 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. Trading volume was 211,458 lots, an increase of 21,699 lots from the previous trading day, and open interest was 150,478 lots, an increase of 6,344 lots from the previous trading day. The most-traded SS contract fluctuated downwards after opening, and then fluctuated at a relatively stable range, with a final decrease of 1.84%.
